§         Prerequisite required:  NH 101

§         This course will be considered fulfilled if you have taken a college level Anatomy and Physiology course elsewhere.

§         Required reading: 

o       Anatomy and Physiology, The Easy Way, by I. Edward Alcamo, Ph.D.

o       Study guide:  The Human Body II, by James R. Overman, N.D. 

§         Hours: 75 total hours, 25 hours reading, 25 hours with study questions, 24 hours for memorizing and 1 hour for the exam.

 

This course includes a study of the endocrine system; the blood; the cardiovascular system; the lymphatic and immune systems; the respiratory system; the digestive system; metabolism and nutrition; the urinary system; fluid, electrolyte and acid/base balance; the male reproductive system and the female reproductive system.
