NH 101 The Human Body I, 3 credits. ($225.00) § No prerequisite required. § This course will be considered fulfilled if you have taken a college level Anatomy and Physiology course elsewhere. § Required reading: o Anatomy and Physiology, The Easy Way, by o Study guide: The Human Body I, by James R. Overman, N.D. § Hours: 75 total hours, 25 hours reading, 25 hours with study questions, 24 hours for memorizing and 1 hour for the exam. This course includes a study of an introduction to anatomy and physiology, the chemical basis of anatomy and physiology, cells and cell physiology, tissues, the integumentary system, bones and joints, the skeletal system, muscle physiology, the muscles, basic structure and function of the nervous system, the organization of the nervous system and the special senses.
