Host a Seminar
You can invite Dr Overman to give a seminar in your area. As the seminar host, we will expect you to perform some tasks in your local area that would be difficult for us to do such as finding a hotel with a suitable conference room and with nearby restaurants. You and one assistant will be able to attend the seminar and receive a certificate for no cost.

You will be identified as the host of the seminar and your telephone number will be included so that people can call and ask questions of a local nature.

All who attend the seminar will receive a certificate signed by Dr Overman. The certificates are very nice and suitable for framing.

On the opening day of the seminar, you and one assistant will meet the attendees as they arrive. You will check in each person. If they have not registered, you can help them register, pay, and receive a syllabus and name tag. You will be expected to assist Dr Overman to make the seminar run smoothly.

  2. Choose an Open Date
    • Weekends are best (Saturday and Sunday)
    • Not on or too near a national holiday or other related event such as a Nature Sunshine Products convention
    • Choose a date that is at least 12 weeks away so that people have time to arrange schedules, airline tickets, and hotel room reservations
  3. Choose a City - Your seminar will be better attended if it is near a large airport because some people will travel from far away.
  4. Choose a Hotel
    • The hotel must have a meeting room large enough to hold 30 to 50 people sitting at tables arranged classroom style. Allow additional room for display tables. If the seminar topic is one that Dr Overman has not yet video recorded, allow still more room for video photography. There will be two video photographers who will set up a large, cloth backdrop behind the speaker along with lights on stands, cameras on stands, and a control board on a table. Joan at the Business Office can tell you whether or not Dr Overman will want to video the seminar.
    • Your seminar will be better attended if hotel room prices are reasonable.
    • Your hotel should be within shuttle distance of the airport so that attendees do not need to rent a car.
    • The meeting room must be available on your selected date.
    • The hotel must have sufficient guest rooms available on the seminar dates plus the nights before and after the seminar.
