Red blood cell problems
- Low red blood cell count (low hemoglobin).
This can be caused by hemorrhage, iron deficiency, vitamnin B12 deficiency, iron in the wrong form to be used, chemotherapy or kidney dialysis.

This can be caused by iron deficiency. Sickle cell is an example of red blood cell deformity.

White blood cell problems
- White blood cell deficiency.
- White blood cell abnormal proportion of the various kinds: lymphocytes, macrophages, neutrophils, eosinophils, and basophils.
- White blood cell count too high caused by the presence of infection.
Platelet problems
- Low platelet count.
- Bone marrow problems.
- Hemorrhage.
- Dengue fever caused by Dengue virus.
Leukemia caused by mildew infection in the bone marrow and blood cells.
